How to "top off" a budget category the next month?
When there is a new month and there is "cash left over" (say $10) in a category which has a monthly goal of $100, is there a quick budget way to "top it off" and just add $80? It seems like it wants to put $100 in which would leave me with $110.

I'd suggest having it add $90 instead of $80. ;) But no, that goal type doesn't exist. Yet. It has been a feature request since the software launched since a lot of people want to begin the month squaring off their category balances. The only way to do it currently is to set a monthly funding goal, then select all the categories that have one, use the "balance to zero" button to take the existing amount out of the category and then use "underfunded" to put the right amount back in. Several clicks, but still might be faster than individually budgeting multiple categories if you have a number that fall into the "want to harvest the excess" type.

Hi Gold Sidewinder !
It looks like everyone covered the workarounds above - I just wanted to leave a quick link to our Feature Request form! That goes directly to our development team so you can share your ideas and feedback with them! :)

Thanks, I had tried that, but the "cash left over" from past months still makes me budget non only this month´s bill but also past months' unspent cash. It forces me to budget a lot more than I need to.
I have been using the adjustment key in the reconciliations also, so some of that money I did spend it, but doesnt go to that category. In fact I have no idea where the money adjustments from reconciliation balance adjustments go in the budget.
