Can't login - internets and tubes error persists.

I cannot login to the web app. Status page says nothing helpful. Cannot login so I cannot use the support ticket system. Help.

I've restarted my chromebook multiple times... Can access the rest of the internet fine.

Thanks for any assistance or guidance.

Karl

  • +1, same issue.  Cleared cache/cookies, still getting the 500 error in console.

  • Same here - I've cleared my cache, and even switched browsers. Seeing a 500 on the post to /api/v1/catalog with YNAB_VERSION: v1.29076 reported in the console.

  • I am getting "something has gone wrong likely having to do with internets and tubes".  I have tried both Chrome and Edge and get the same issue.  I suspect the problem is not on my end.

  • They are clearly down. Would have love to see it on the status page instead of having to log here....

Check the thread "Is YNAB down?" in the API section... apparently that is where YNAB support chose to inform us about this major issue...

rolltide That is different because that user was rejected.. the response was "{"id":request_blocked","message":"Request blocked"}}". Probably a 401 or 403 HTTP code. This is 500.. they have a bug on their end and their stuff is crashing.

    • rolltide That thread is 2 months old (and the dev post is a month old) - I'd guess they still don't know about this outage.

  • Having the same issue on desktop and while I can get into the app, nothing that I did earlier has synced so it's pointless to even try to input things.

What a mess. And the status page is STILL unhelpful. I manage a couple of hosted saas systems for my institution. Our local status page is more informative...

    • rolltide Everything is more helpful than YNAB help. It's a stunning level of incompetence to not have something showing on the front page of the support forums that details at least the fact that it's down and they're working on it. Maybe they should just give up and go back to YNAB4, the new programmers are clearly not good enough.
