Any recommendations for or against the Trim app?
Lately I've been hearing about the Trim app (https://www.asktrim.com/?utm_source=google&utm_campaign=1726784868&adgroup=67986651576_c&creative=336780270631&utm_term=b_ask%20trim&attribution_key=2003&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_5rtBRDxARIsAJfxvYBcF-Ya9UQAYkkAVOtyxODxB8ZhiatrrO4BlFM8bu6CRuP2fNq1XGwaAu5rEALw_wcB). This app supposedly helps save you money by haggling on your bills, negotiating refunds, analyzing your spending and making recommendations, etc. As I understand it they charge $10/month and up to 30% of the money that you save as a result of their efforts.
I've read some good reviews of it. Wondering if any YNABers have tried it and what you think.
It seems that it could be worth using if you are disinclined to negotiate on your own behalf and there may be loopholes that you are unaware of (i.e. asking for credits due to internet outages, etc.). If you don't pay for premium, it could be worth it. Try your own negotiations and then you're out nothing if you do use the app.
