
Anyone Else Finding YNAB on New Edge (Win 10) "Hangs"?
For the past few months, YNAB seems to cause browser issues when using the new Edge on Win 10. At the start of almost every session, I get a notification that the browser has stopped responding and I'm given the choice to stop or wait (I usually wait and it clears).
Is anyone else experiencing this? Note that I don't use the Toolkit extension.

Do you have that issue with any other site? Or just YNAB? Being an avid hater of Windows 10 (I liked Windows 7), I became an apple convert once Windows 7 went out of support. So I can't be of much help on Edge. Not saying you have to use these, but do you have the same issue with Chrome or Firefox? Just looking at options to isolate the problem.

Couple of ideas. (1) Have you tried loading your budget in Private Mode, just in case an extension is interfering with YNAB? (2) Is your budget several years old? If it's a venerable budget with a lot of data in it, we might be able to compress it to improve performance. Let me know!

I was having issues in Brave Browser too, that seem to have started when the new move history feature was added. I have a 5+ year old budget, so it's probably quite large. If I loaded YNAB in a Private Window it was much faster. I ended up deleting all the youneedabudget.com site data in Brave Browser (Settings -> Search for "View permissions and data" -> Site and Shields Settings -> View permissions and data stored across sites) and that seemed to do the trick.
