Deleting in ready to assign?
Is there any way to delete money from ready to assign without affecting the budget itself? I made a mistake manually entering the money I have in my account and I can't adjust it without it impacting the assigned column etc.
Violet Deer satcook is right on! The amount of available funds in your budget is directly impacted by the amount of money in your cash-positive accounts. That means that in order to get your Ready to Assign amount reflecting the amount of money you truly have left to assign, you'll want to first reconcile your accounts.

IMO i would not reconcile but fix the original error. You seem to know what it is and how to fix it, so do that.
Then reality sets in. I assume you have over budgeted. That's reality, not something you can hide. move money from your budget back to ready to assign until it is back at $0. Now you have your true finances in front of you.
I've never adjusted my balances using reconciliation. Not once, ever. I find the issues and fix them at their source.
