Fresh Start - extra transactions

Hi there, I did a fresh start in Feb in order to start tracking my new expenses better. There were some lingering transactions that populated for January and now I realized that is making my average spent out of whack. Is the fix to just delete any transactions in January? I'm afraid to try and not be able to get back to where I am currently!

  • The average is up to a 12 month average, so once you've been using YNAB for a year they will be excluded.

    • nolesrule thanks, my goal though is to see the current average based on feb-april, leaving the couple of misc January transactions is throwing it off. I didn't actually budget for anything in this budget during January it was just some reconciliation issues with starting balances and a credit card transaction

      Forest Green Commander You can do that in the Income and Expenses report and just exclude January.
