Inflow not updated correctly
I had a paycheck on 05/14 and then one on 05/28 however ynab only shows one paycheck in inflow even when the 05/28 transaction is cleared and marked as inflow. The only difference is I categorized the first paycheck as TBB and send the second one to a category as income for next month. I dont think it should matter what category i put it in. Why would the second paycheck not show up as income?
The whole purpose of an Income for Next Month category is to give it that job until you are ready to disperse it. When you are, you recategorize it as To Be Budgeted. It will then be available to budget.
Here are instructions on how to make it available to budget:
- Select the income transaction. (Make sure it's the only selected transaction unless you have multiple INM transactions you want to recategorize.)
- Select the Edit menu at the top of your account transactions.
- Hover over Categorize and select Inflow>To be Budgeted.
Now it will be available to budget. Happy budgeting! 🙂

Yes, it increases TBB because now it is available to budget. It wasn't a part of TBB until now. These are real funds that you now have available to budget. Budget until TBB is 0.
