
Credit Card Doesn't Show Allocated Money ?
I have a petrol card which I pay in full once a month, on the 15th.
So in April I filled a tank the after the 15th, kr 667, had the same amount budgeted. Got the transaction linked to the petrol card.
May comes and I reconciled the card.
Added the bill to be paid from billing account. Now in my mind those money from April should have been allocated to the petrol card ? Or does the change of month messes up with that system, and I have to budget 667 to the petrol card in May?
Did I mess up somewhere? I messed up March sine I dind't fully understand how CC worked in YNAB, could that be a reason (although I though I had fixed it) ?

I can always switch some money around. Do you mean I should go back to April to put allocate money on the card? If so I can do that in May just as well.
I don't get what I have done wrong so please bear with me while I go through the explanation.
In February ^ March I spent petrol, put expenses on the category and linked it to the account/card.
Then I allocated money to the card. Which I paid in full both times. However since I put money on both the card and the category I realized I was messing it up (Thank you Nick True), So I tried to fix the error.
But okay, I'm all for trying again and forgetting old mistakes.
Should I for simplicity sake just allocate money on the May-card?
Then from the 15th , where I have to refill again, I will do what I have done before. Add expenses to the category, link to the account, and all will be sunshine and happiness ?
