Cashback websites

So I just wanted to make a small post here about cashback websites, I couldn't see a rules page, but I just thought it would help out. However, the websites linked I know work in the UK, if anyone has any suggestions for other countries, please let me know.

Cashback websites are a great way of doing normal spending but being able to get a % of that back further down the line and might be worth googling :)

I know these things can take time to come back (SEVEREAL weeks) but I guess it all comes back full circle in the end, and it's worth an investigation. Be aware though that there tend to be two tariffs on some of them where they will keep the first £5 that you save, for better rates.

  • Thanks for posting this  Tan Battery !

I don't think any links came through, so you may want to try that again.

When you choose to reply, if you don't see a format bar at the top of your window

then you may need to click on the "..." icon underneath your window to reveal the formatting bar.

  • To be honest, I was worried it was against T&C's,

    but the two examples are:

    -and

    https://quidco.com/?scb=60c27961ba9a230436fce489a472e764

can also use HotUKdeals in  the UK for extra deals

  • In the US, I use Ebates for my online shopping. I have the Add On in Firefox and anytime I go to a website that offers Ebates, I get a little pop-up in the corner saying "Do you want to activate X% cashback?". Your account gets paid out on a quarterly basis.

      +1 on ebates.

And they provide a breakdown of where all of the money that comes in the cashback check came from, so when it's time to deposit it, it can either be assigned as Income or a split to specific categories ( a deal I made with the Mrs. nolesrule on rebates from her personal spending).

  • I always use cashback when possible, my two favourites for Canadians is Ebates Canada and Great Canadian Rebates (sometimes has better rates than Ebates although their UI needs a little refresher but totally legit).

  • This has just started to happen here (Ireland).  At least An Post has a current account that gives you10% off Lidl shopping since we do almost all our shopping there this is a major win and our bank has just announced a similar scheme but so far the businesses are not ones that we use much.

A tiny part of me is suspicious.
