Citibank connection issues

Hi,

This morning my Citibank accounts stopped connecting. I can log into them normally. In YNAB app, when I re-enter my username/password it just fails to log in.

Is there an issue with Citibank accounts? Perhaps something was updated and broke?

  • Hi Maroon Cartridge and A Cowart !

    Our Direct Import partner has recognized this as a wide-spread issue. They let us know that Citibank made a change on their end, so the integration will need to be rebuilt. While we hope this will be resolved soon, it can take our Direct Import partner a few weeks to iron out major issues (some times longer if there are complications). 

    You can check our status page for updates at any time, or feel free to tag me and I can take a look at where they are on the fix! (Please note, the "operational" tag means that the direct import service is working, but the issue with Citibank is still active and causing trouble with imports for users.)

    In the meantime, I highly recommend giving File Based Importing a try! It's quick and will allow you to drag and drop your transaction files into YNAB to keep things up to date. You can also use Scheduled Transactions for recurring expenses (rent and utility bills) and the mobile app for recording spending on-the-go (gas and groceries). Once you are able to link the account, imported transactions will match right up with the ones you entered.
