?anyone remember: planning with 3x5 note cards

(We haven't been on this form in years because there is no feature to block jerks. Every community has them; good forums let you block them from seeing your posts. So, while the forum gave us a lot of good information, we had to step away.)

So, this question goes back to when the forum was on another platform (Vanilla, maybe?).

One member consults/trains people on how to prioritize items in their life and budget. There was a process using 3x5 note cards. You'd write all the things that cost money on the cards and then sort them into a highest to lowest priority order. In our case, it turned out that cable TV was not at all important to us, so we cut it. Our expensive phone plan wasn't important to me, so I got out of it and got Ting. (He later followed suit.) This was one of the steps. There was a lot more to it than this.

I'd like to do it again for a different project, but I can't find my notes from the instructions.

Any of you old timers remember this process, what it was called, or the username of who teaches it? Was it ever posted to this forum?

nolesrule , that sounds right to me. Was it LongStockingGirl who used to host the annual values summit?  I don't think she's on this forum.

HappyDance Thank you. I did a search for her handle and "values summit" and did find another post that refers to her and it together (from another forum). I can't find any evidence of her using that handle since then, though. Guess I'll just go on what I remember. Too bad, I really wanted to con$ult with her. Thanks again.
