Credit Card category
I like to put my credit cards by date in my budget under monthly expenses. But there is already a credit card category that is built when you add the card.
I am confused as to where I put my dollars in the budget- is it in the payment section of that credit card or in the budget under monthly expenses?
You’re monthly credit card purchases will automatically get added to the CC payment category as you make them.
As long as they're budgeted. Any payment above what was budgeted will be like creating debt, unless the over spending is covered by rolling with the punches, to cover the negative balance of the underfunded category.
