Has other people having the wrong balance show up?

Trying reconcile my account and was not matching my bank. After hours of trying to figure out why, I found that the balance on this app was not calculating the amount correctly.

 

Any help to resolve will greatly appreciated

  • Update: After finding the problem, I reconciled the old fashion way and now i match. Must be a glitch that needs to be addressed.

  • If you're talking about the Running Balance, you have to sort by that column in order for them to always calculate correctly. When sorted by date, the results aren't guaranteed.

    The running balance column doesn't recalculate when you sort the register differently. You can click the Balance column at the top of the register—which will reset it to the default (and correct!) order.

    Another thing I noticed is that there are spending transactions categorized to Inflow: To be Budgeted. Instead, you'll want to customize your categories so you can budget, and categorize them accordingly!

    To edit the transactions, double click the category field and choose your new (or existing) spending categories. Like "Dining Out" for take-out, etc.

  • Hi! One thing I found really helpful is to watch Nick True's You Tube videos on how to set up categories, record transactions etc. You can google them using his name. It will really help with your set-up.
