How I fixed direct import issues

Ever since YNAB switched to plaid I had to authenticate with my bank every day and go through the MFA process twice each time. Super annoying! So I thought, what if I unlink my bank, completely delete the connection, and then relink it? So far it's worked!

One thing though was that it took about a day to start seeing transactions importing automatically. After that though it seems to be working like it did before and I haven't had to authenticate since.

Just thought I'd share if anyone running into the same problem!

    Thank you for sharing your experience - we're happy to hear things are back up and running for you! :)

    Since we have multiple direct import partners, and they can each handle connections to a certain bank differently, we ask that any YNABers still having issues report a Bank Importing Issue so our Direct Import team can take a closer look.
