My default location is always one location behind (GeoPayees)
Every time I enter a transaction on my phone, the default payee is the one that was used for the previous transaction. If I edit the payee, the one I want is available at the top of the list due to the GeoLocation.
If I am at McDonalds, it first shows Dunkin Donuts (the previous place I had entered a transaction from), I need to edit and select the first item from the list which is McDonalds. Then, if I cross town and go to the gas station, the default payee shows up as McDonalds. If I edit the payee, Mobil is the first one on the list due to its location. This cycle repeats throughout the day.
It seems to me, if I am at McDonalds, the default should be McDonalds. Is the behavior I see typical, or is there something I can adjust?

When you enter a transaction, (1) does the defaulted Payee have a globe icon next to it?
(2) When you click to edit the Payee, is the actual payee listed near the top of the section "Near You" with a number next to it? If so, what's that number (it should be in feet)? A screenshot is fine, too!

I also tend to get this. It happens if I'm too quick trying to enter a transaction (which I guess applies to 3D touch on the icon). If I wait a few seconds, the app then picks up the correct location.
I figure the app just needs to be changed to make sure it's grabbed the latest location prior to starting the new transaction flow.
Based on what switkiss mentioned, I tried an experiment today.
When I entered my transaction using 3D touch, the wrong default payee showed up for my location. Instead of selecting the correct one, I just cancelled the transaction and then started a new transaction from within the application. This time, the correct payee showed up.
