TD Canada Trust EasyWeb
Hi there. Started a trial a few days ago and cannot linked most of my financial accounts, particularily my main account with TD Canada Trust EasyWeb. I can log into EasyWeb itself using the same credentials, no issue.
I am also unable to link my Equitable Bank account, and my PayPal account. The only bank account I have been able to link is one with Tangerine bank that I just opened and have not used yet.
I'm excited to start using YNAB, but that would require being able to link my accounts first :(
I have been trying on Google Chrome, Firefox, Linux & OSX, Android App, for the past 5 days.
Any ideas?

Hi, I am probably your newest member - I just set up my YNAB account a few minutes ago and set up my trial subscription through iTunes. However, I likely am also will be your shortest subscribing member as I already want to put a stop to my subscription having just found out you do not support Linked TD Canada Trust accounts. This is a show stopper for me. Mint provides such support. Bottom line - I want to immediately cancel my subscription. Can you please explain exactly how I can immediately cancel my pending iTunes subscription. Within iTunes, it does not show any cancellation button but rather simply "pending". Do I need to complain to Apple to ensure it gets cancelled? Please advice. Very disappointed in my initial experience with your service - I was truly expecting more. Thanks.

Hi again, I was able to determine how to cancel my subscription in iTunes and I have now cancelled it. That is very unfortunate, as I was looking forward to giving YNAB a try. However, clearly your "import partner" is not up to the task as this unsupported linked TD Canada Trust account issue is now over a year old. It shouldn't take over a year to resolve this issue if indeed your 'import partner' was taking this issue seriously.

I am not sure if you're allowed to post links to Twitter here, but: https://twitter.com/EMikula/status/1177071941150289922

To all of you having trouble with TD importing, that was me in July during the trial. I am now 3.5 months into using YNAB without any integration and it really is amazing software without the integration. I am now hyper-aware of my spending and transactions by manually entering transactions, then reconciling them myself. It isn't very hard.
I will use YNAB on my iPad and look at TD on my phone to quickly check the little green circles, or just my iPhone. Or I will open YNAB on my Mac & tabs for my TD chequing/VISA, and BMO MSCD. It doesn't take very long, even after a busy weekend spending. Then I can do the reconciliation, and send off a payment to the cards & record the payment. Jesse has a Podcast on using the software without integration and his positive comments resonated with me, like yeah it's easy & I am in control.
My CCs are now now completely paid regularly instead of doing the credit card float & shuffle with savings to pay them, often late. Now I know the money is there and I pay them every week or less. I use them for points instead of them using me for interest! And I have less paper lying around, since once I've entered a transaction, I can throw the paper away or file important receipts.
If you're on the fence about using YNAB because of the integration, don't fret since this software & education programming will help you become so aware of your finances & goals. It's worth the fee. I'm in control for the first time in my life after using spreadsheets, envelopes, and good intentions. 😄❤️YNAB
