how to close a mortgage account
how do I close a mortgage account in YNAB that I paid off two years ago? When I try to close it, I am prompted to provide an account from which to transfer the money. I not longer have that much in an account.

If you paid it off 2 years ago how did you record that payment at the time.

Just reconcile the account to $0, let YNAB enter the transaction automatically. Then close your account. It's a tracking account so it doesn't matter if you create money out of thin air except for your net worth. But since it was paid 2 years ago, your net worth was off for those 2 years and it will rectify it.
