Issues linking to Discover

Just started using this service but found this had been an issue for numerous months at this point. Other threads trying to understand what’s going on and when this will be fixed have been “closed” which is odd since the issue is still there. I guess I’m trying to determine if I should stop before I start or if there is REALLY a fix coming. Other apps don’t seem to have this issue and the automatic import is the entire reason for me considering a paid subscription.

  • Don't give up, you have not paid the price yet. you will need to struggle a little bit before you get the hang of it. It will take one to three months before you get it right and depends on how much time you invest in learning. Don't jump on the app yet till you master the program.

  • Hi Maroon Stallion ! Welcome to You Need A Budget! At this time, Discover isn't available to link. During the trial, I hope you’ll explore our other transaction entry options including File-Based Import.

Discover recently made a change to their security settings to allow only certain financial software to connect. Our import partner is currently working with Discover in order to support their integration, so it's being handled at the partnership level.

As of now, due to the complete blackout of successful connections, we've removed Discover Banking and Discover CC's from the list of supported banks.

We're closing out Bank Importing threads in the forum to make sure these type of issues are better resolved with our Direct Import team—one on one! Replies in this thread have been turned off, and I sent you an email with a few more details.

For anyone else that is having trouble with a bank connection, please fill out this form and our Direct Import team will be happy to look closer!
