Missing option to manually reassign "Ready to Assign" Money in New Mobile App
Working on getting acclimated to the new YNAB design that was just released. While the web app still offers the ability to manually move "Ready to Assign" money at the top to a specific category (a feature I use all the time because I have a "buffer" category where all new money goes until the next month), the mobile app only lets you auto-assign when you tap that number. So I now have to scroll to my "Income for Next Month" category and enter the amount there.
Any plans to get some parity here so we can still manually assign dollars on the mobile app to a specific category directly from "Ready to Assign" at the top of the app, like we can in the web app? I'd imagine that for anyone using a buffer-type system to get a month ahead, as YNAB has historically espoused, this would be super helpful.
A bit of kudos though for the web app redesign - while initially it creates an extra step of having to click over to "Manually" as opposed to "Auto" after you click "Assign", it seems to remember your choice after that, so it will now default to "Manually" for me going forward. Very smart.
Thanks, yeah that's a good fix for now. I've pinned my "Income For Next Month" category to the top so I don't have to scroll to get to it. And encouraging to hear they're likely working on a fix.
