Unable to Add Wells Fargo Account

I continue to receive a message of "We're sorry, our system is temporarily unavailable" from the Wells Fargo page when using the Plaid/OAuth for Linked Account. However, I am able to log into the Wells Fargo site directly, without issue. This Wells Fargo account does have 2-Factor Authentication enabled, and I am wondering if this is somehow preventing access. Is there a way I can supply other information to still link the accounts? Or, is there a known outcome (success or failure) if I were to temporarily have Wells Fargo remove the 2FA, and then re-enable after successful authentication?

The other issue may stem from differences in behavior (how the 2FA is handled) between `connect.secure.wellsfargo.com` (used by Plaid) and `wellsfargo.com` (home page), which I have encountered previously when working with Wells Fargo customer service reps in the past.

  • No idea how to delete post, but appears it must have been an API issue on WF's end. Appears to be resolved now!
