Checking Account Freezing

I have a strange problem. Whenever I try to enter or edit a transaction in my checking account the register line freezes and I can't click on anything. If I wait a few minutes I can continue but it freezes on the next field. I can navigate to other accounts and they are all behaving. Any idea why this would/could happen?

  • Hi Gold Thunder ! I’m happy to help. That's no fun at all! When you open YNAB in a private browser window, do you still see the issue? If not, go ahead and clear your cookies/cache. Another thing that can help is to try disabling browser extensions one by one.

  • Which browser? Have you tried a different one? If you have the Toolkit Extension, try disabling that as a test.

    • dakinemaui I actually tried Chrome, Safari, and IE. The Toolkit seemed to be giving me other problems so I disabled it prior to this, until I get a better understanding of things. Great ideas but they didn't work.

  • I experience similar results sometimes.  A refresh has always cleared it up for me.

    • MsTJ I thought the same but no luck with mine. Clearing website data did the trick for me.

  • Just found this link.  Will give all the above ago. Had this problems for months and it is very annoying. Fingers crossed the above suggestions  work.
