Duplicate Imports

The import on my account has recently (past couple weeks) started importing duplicates for the same transaction. Sometimes even going back a several days/weeks. 

I've never had to reconcile my account till now and had to do so twice in the past week.

    Can you provide me with a few more details? Which account are you seeing these duplicates in? Are you seeing two duplicates for each transaction and a cancel transaction? Would you be willing to post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

  • I just imported my "Checking" and "Savings" account. Both accounts imported duplicates for the first item in each account and the "Checking" (shown below) randomly added a transaction that had already imported.

    Both accounts are linked to Ally.

  • I cleared the other transactions, but I attached a new import. Still importing items for a couple weeks back.

      Our Direct Import partner believes to have resolved this issue with Ally as of yesterday (here is the link to the status page), so you shouldn't see any more duplicates import from here! 

      If you do, can you reach out to [email protected] with some more screenshots so we can have our Direct Import partner investigate your case individually? They will get to the bottom of it! 😊

  • I just emailed in about the same issue with Bank of America, in case it's helpful to mention here too.  Came here after the auto-reply suggested it. :)

  • Turns out my issue was an expected result of the bank changing the metadata slightly.  All set over here now.

    • Wilson Sorry for the delay here! Just to check our bases here, are you seeing Cancel transactions import or just the two instances of the same transaction? Also, those transactions are dated for 8/22, did they take place on that day or earlier?
