Barclaycard US

Anyone having any luck with direct import from ? I have tried the last several days to no avail. Sometimes I get the "Send auth code to <email> prompt" and I insert the code, fail. Sometimes I get "Enter answers to these security questions"...then failure. Sometimes I just go straight to failure. The status page says BarclayCardUs has a success rate of 88.8%?? How is that, I have been batting 0 for 20 attempts the last 2 days.

    Sorry for the trouble! 

    A few YNABers have mentioned seeing some messaging on the Barclay website that alludes to some recent website and security changes, which may be blocking data aggregation for some providers. We’re thinking that's likely to be the culprit!

    Whenever a financial institution makes changes to their online banking platform, our third-party partner for Direct Import has to make significant changes on their side to re-establish a connection. The necessary changes are typically able to be made, but it depends on the complexity and will take some time to do so (unfortunately we don’t get an estimate on these). We’ll post updates on our Status Page when we learn any more from our partner, so please check in with us there!

    To keep everything up to speed, enter transactions on the go with the mobile app and try out File-Based Importing in the web app - a super quick and easy alternative to direct import and manual entry! It allows you to drag and drop a file containing your transactions right into YNAB. :)

    • Hi Gold Falcon! This is an older thread, about an issue from last year. However, I'm happy to dig into what's going with your Barclay connection!

      Can you let me know a little more about what you're seeing? It looks like you have a successful connection to Barclaycard US. Are you missing transactions?

      If you have transactions you know have cleared your bank over 24 hours ago, but they are not available to import, try following these steps to remove the connection and re-link the account. If you have other accounts associated with that connection, be sure to reconnect those, too!

      Give it a day or two and see if you're able to import new transactions. If transactions still aren’t importing, let me know—and we'll go from there!
