Regions bank not an account option

Why isn't regions coming up when I search to add an account? The only one that comes up is Regions Mortgage.

    Sorry for the trouble! Our Direct Import partners are working on repairing the connection to Regions. They've let us know this could possibly be a long term issue, so they've removed Regions as an option for the time being. They're hoping to repair the connection and then re-add Regions as an option but that could take some time.

    Can you give us an estimate of what "long term" could look like? Are we talking weeks or years here? Is this something that's changed on Regions's end?

    • Powder Blue Network We don't have an exact timeline, but I do have a bit more information on what happened! In fact, here is what our Direct Import partner said exactly: 

      "Regions Bank connections have been encountering reduced stability due to a server-side change made by Regions Bank.  As a result, we are currently unable to connect accounts and have made the institution unavailable.

      However, Quovo's Partnership team has contacted Regions Bank to resolve the issue."

  • I wish I would have researched or found out about this before downloading and using my free month. I’ll be discontinuing my service now. The goal was not to have to do so much manual imput to start the budgeting process.

      We're sorry to see you go but we understand your decision. We truly believe YNAB is more than worth the subscription, even without direct import, but we understand if that's not what you're looking for. File Based Importing is a good alternative and it's easier than it sounds! However, if you do decide to part ways for now, we hope you'll give YNAB another spin once Regions is back up and running! :)

    • Blue Barnacle That's one of the supported file types! Instead of double-clicking that file to open it, drag and drop it into YNAB.  :)

  • Is there a way to be notified when this is turned back on? Our two primary institutions (Wells Fargo and Regions) appear to be not working right now, so although I'd like to jump in with both feet into YNAB, this is slowing me down. This is especially true because I already have my own zero-based budgeting tracking system, so my subscription is purely for efficiency. Although I'm sure the file import works, I was trying to get away from needing to login to each institution in order to update my budget categories each day.

  • Please add me to the update email list as well - I will say I wouldn't have deleted my old budget if I had known this was an issue. I also probably wouldn't have renewed my subscription either until the issue was fixed.
