PSD2 support
Hey,
On February 19th a new European law went into effect called PSD2. This means users can share all their banking information with 3rd parties. Is there any plan for YNAB to start supporting this new framework? It would give bank importing support for every bank in Europe.

Hi Ditmar Visser !
We are aware and excited about the PSD2 system in Europe! It’s definitely a huge step in the right direction for the financial and aggregation world.
With PSD2 being so new on the scene, it's hard to say if or when we'd be able to use it to offer direct import for our European users. It is definitely on our (and our provider’s) radar, though! If we are able to offer it, we'll be sure to announce it loud and clear. 😄

your provider Plaid seems to suggest they're supporting EU banks now. Will YNAB be making it a priority to integrate this new support into the direct import system?

isn't in our near futureI'm quite sad about it :(
You have a very good product, but we can not use it in Europe. Please escalate our request!

If you can clearly differentiate between your US and European users based on the services you can provide for each, also stating that auto import is not the recommended ynab method, only an add-on, then you should create a separate - obviously cheaper - subscription package for your customers not using the transaction import features. This way we won't feel that we are paying for something that doesn't and according to your plans won't work for us, but only for your US based customers.

Oh that service doesn't work with my german banks... I use spendee, a budgeting app to sync with my accounts and then export to csv then convert them and them import th as file...yeah and this cists me 4€ a month and 30 min of my time at each sync... My german bank just doesn't export usable csvs but it has an excellent psd2 connector....

Hi Guys,
any news here? For at least 3 Years now I need to import my transactions by hand all the time because german banks are not supported.
And since I anyways began to replace all my Subscription-based Apps with One Time Paid ones, this is maybe time to go. YNAB is one of the last ones left I have left. I'm not willing to pay year for year for basically the same features. I still use the same features since the beginning and don't need one of the new ones from the release notes...
