Unknown bank logins

My wife and I are experiencing unknown iPhone logins into BB&T accounts after syncing our YNAB accounts. Could this be YNAB grabbing updates or is this more likely to someone else? Nothing weird is happening with our funds (yet). I just need to be certain we don't need to change our passwords and that this is only YNAB. The fact that it is occurring on both of our separate account logins makes me believe that it is YNAB.

Anyone noticing this in their bank account login history?

  • I doubt YNAB would be using an iPhone to update your account. I would change your passwords to be safe. If it continues, you will know it’s YNAB.

  • Hi, there! When you say you're experiencing "unknown iPhone logins," do you mean that you're receiving a security code text from BB&T after syncing your YNAB accounts? If so, this *could* be BB&T trying to sync along with all of your other connections--but we'd want to be safe and check if this is the case.

The best way to check to see if this is our import partner is to reach out to Support with the IP address the attempts are coming from and the timestamps (with timezone) of the most recent attempts. You can reach out to our support team right from your budget.

In the meantime, we do recommend changing your password just in case! Be safe! :)
