Updated to Plaid, but No Imports
Just went through updating my Capital One accounts for the Plaid transition, but now I can't import anything. Curious if anyone else if having the same issue.

WaFed account transactions not importing since Plaid update. Unlinked/relinked account. Was told credentials were bad (?!?!) I logged into WaFed account, and only after that was able to relink. Still, no imports. Very busy trying to keep things afloat during pandemic; would rather not spend time entering transactions manually if I can avoid it.

Having the same issue here with Capital One - CA.. The strange thing is credentials and security code work and it would say "Your bank was reconnected." but it would fail on the next step to import the transactions saying "incorrect credentials". Of course, it's not true because I can log in no problem at their website with the same credentials.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Well....Those of us that do NOT use Capital One can definitely blame one or the other and perhaps both.
Capital One has always had problems, and honestly....probably always will. That doesn't mean other institutions have those kinds of problems. Get a better bank.
In the meantime....This transfer to Plaid has been nothing but a disaster on many levels. I hope they fix it soon, but I can do manual imports if I have to. Not really what we are paying YNAB for, but it is what it is at this point.

I still can't believe that after the "big upgrade" to whatever plaid is YNAB works far worse than before. Didn't anyone even try it before they went full speed ahead? Month after month after month, all I want is to be able to download my transactions automatically, it's one of the features YNAB advertises.

Same as everyone else.... Why did I have to have my bank call me 6 times to put in the verification and my credit cards had to text me the code 4 times each as well...
I put most everything in manually when spent but the I shouldn't have to spend 30 mins just trying to get each of my accounts to re-sync so I can verify everything has cleared as it should have, and at least the old provider saved my login info and only had to be submitted once. This plaid has seemingly fixed the issue with discover not allowing connections, but in fixing that one it has made 3 new account problems....

Is there anyway to switch back to the previous import partner, instead of Plaid? Will YNAB developers allow such a thing? My Capital One accounts have problems after this latest update. I have to sign in every time for each account, perform 2-step authentication TWICE, and then later find out that “clear” transactions are no longer importing......
This is a paid service.......

I guess this is the only allowed thread on this subject now?
Nicole, I got your note, and yes I have read the CPO's thoughts on the matter. Makes sense, but to state that on demand importing is not possible is simply wrong. Finicity allows Mvelopes users to do just that. Not only can you pull cleared transactions, you can pull pending transactions. I know this, as I switched to YNAB from Mvelopes, as YNAB is the better product for me. 👍😄
In any case, I did submit a import issue form, and received an email from Sarah, so hopefully we get everything resolved soon. 🍀🤞
