Noob - Account and Available Balance

Hello, i'm in Day 26 of my 34 day free trial, and age of money is 25 days (woot!). 

So as its end of the month, this is what I've done:

1. I've budgeted my March payroll (received 21 of every month) for April budget. 

2. My march available left over doesn't tally with my accounts, and when I click on the April tab, the available funds for that month also doesnt tally. 

I cant link my accounts (international user) so I key in all transactions manually. 

My question is, is this normal? Am i missing something? I guess im afraid i may be overbudgeting for April, and i might end up spending money i don't have?

Any advice will help.

  • Since you've budgeted money in April, you need to go past that to do a proper comparison.

    In the future-most month you can access (which is one month past the last month you have budgeted money):

    Total Available (from the inspector) + TBB = Sum of all cash-based accounts + credit accounts that have a positive balance (do not include credit accounts with negative balances)

  • Ah ok. I guess I'll just keep going forward and stick to this so I can actually see improvements or not. But so far, I'm quite happy with myself that I've been able to be more self-aware with my spending.
