Retirement Calculator - No Longer Available! iOS

Hey all,

Does anyone know who the developer is for RetirementCalculator?  It was simple and my favorite!!!

I'd like to reach out to see if they intend on making it available on iOS again or if I should go in search of another option ... thanks!  (below is an image of the app)

  • Was this an app that used the official YNAB API?

Matthew - no.  It was just a general question.

  • I'm gonna venture a guess that the app wasn't complying with Apple's privacy and security requirements, so maybe it's for the best.  No idea of the developer though, sorry :(.

vitamin Heh yeah, I did a search and saw you asking all over the place :).  Don't worry, there's a thousand of those things (and of course, I still don't know how much we need to retire!).

  • FWIW, my favorite retirement calculator is cFIREsim. It's not available as an app, but it works in a mobile browser, it's totally free, and—in my opinion!—asks the most relevant questions.

Despite having "FIRE" in the name, it's not at all designed only for early retirement!

  • Great, thanks for the link.  I'll take a gander.   Thus far, my favourite replacement is https://apps.apple.com/us/app/financial-independence-calc/id1473492772

That's the iOS link, I don't see that Voglhuber made one for Android yet.  //

    Cheers!
