Credit card budget doesn't match credit card account
My line-item budget for my credit card doesn't match the current balance of my credit card. Under the "accounts" section, that credit card's working balance IS accurately reflected. The difference between the line-item budget and actual account is $30.17, and I went through my transactions on my credit card app and compared them with YNAB and didn't see any misplaced transactions.
Any idea on what caused this and how to reconcile?
The account balance in YNAB agrees with the bank, so it's not a transaction issue. It's a budget issue. Has the category ever matched the account balance? (YNAB doesn't assume you will pay off any starting balance).
You will have to reallocate to correct the shortage, even if you identify the cause. I'd say give it a cursory glance, but otherwise reallocate in the current month and move on.

If you are a paid in full credit card user, it should always match precisely. If you have $950 available in your credit card payment category and you send $1000 to your credit card company, then your whole budget is now off by $50 and you have to reallocate from some other category to the credit card payment category.
