Hi fellow developers! Is there a way to get a free developer account? I'm a long-time customer of YNAB, but don't want to work with my own data while developing. Also, I'd like to not have to pay for 2 accounts. Thanks!
Since I'm developing perpetually, and automation is in the mix it would be better that we as developers don't have to worry about 1) time limits and 2) testing new code on production data. I can certainly understand the fear of people taking advantage of a "free account".
Perhaps we can pay a little extra for a "Dev account login" if we already have a YNAB subscription? I think an extra $10-15 would be fair on top of the $40/yr I'm paying.
MapleLeaf If your code fetches the main data first (v1/budgets/) to get all budget IDs/info you can easily create a blacklist/whitelist on that data before proceeding with the code. Just check if an ID is on a blacklist, and if it is, just remove that budget data from the variable. That's atleast the easiest way I found to get around the X-rate-limit and skip the need for an extra account.
