trouble changing inflow "name"

I wanted to add a category to INFLOW so that I could determine if I was looking at my paycheck or my husbands. When I added his company name to inflow, the money just disappeared. After I edited the transaction and used YNAB's Inflow: To Be Budgeted the money was there. 

Is there a way without using the memo box to identify whose paycheck I'm looking at? Is it possible to  create different inflow types?

  • For Income, you differentiate by the Payee, not by category, and that's how the Income & Expenses report separates income. All Income should be categorized as "Inflow: To Be Budgeted".
