After migration

after the import from ynab4 there is no category for my CC what am i suppose to do with this (Checked the help and it talks about adding a new card)

Any help would be great.

  • Did you check your hidden categories? Sometimes it ends up there.

    If that credit card payment category isn't hidden (listed under Hidden Categories at the bottom of your budget), like nolesrule mentioned, then the account is set up with the wrong account type. You'll need to create a new account, and we'll save your transaction history. Here are the steps:

    1. Add a new Unlinked account. (Give it a slightly different name.)

    2. Enter a starting balance of $0.

    3. Now, go to the original account, select all the transactions, and move them to the new account via the Edit menu.

    4. Refresh your browser.

    5. Now, you can delete the original account.

    6. If you'd like, go back to the new account to edit the account name and Link Account!

    That will then create the credit card payment category. :)
