
SoFi Money Checking Account
Hello, does YNAB enable direct import with SoFi's new Money Checking account? I can indeed connect to my SoFi investment account, but my checking account does not show up.

YNAB is struggling with their direct import to SoFi today but it's being worked on. SoFi works in multiple other services I have, so the issues is on the YNAB import partner side. Good news, is they are actively looking into the solve.
If you open up a support ticket with YNAB, they can get you in touch with their import partner who is actively working it.

Hi YNAB support! I am also in the same boat: I am able to start the linking process with my SoFi Money account, and I get a two-factor authentication request, but then I receive a message that reads "We couldn't connect to Social Finance(SoFi)" Can you please help me connect to my SoFi Money account?

It would seem that SoFi utilizes two-factor authentication and there is no way to make the connection from YNAB sticky, therefore I'm having to re-authenticate every day when I check YNAB on mobile. I tap the message to reconnect, I get the text message with the code, and in iOS 12, that number is automatically put above my keyboard, so I just tap it to populate the code. I wish there were some way for YNAB and SoFI to handshake that this connection is OK to keep as approved, much like the browser authentication allows you to "remember this browser". This is not an answer to the problem, but rather what I find to be a slight shortcut to getting reconnected each day, using the iOS app rather than the browser. In case you are using Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or some other two-factor authentication mechanism, you have the option to change that within SoFi if you'd rather switch to SMS authentication.

Hi - I have had issues with my SoFi accounts for 3+ days now. The error says I have 'Incorrect Challenges' (which I would assume that I didn't put the verification code at the time that I received it... around 3 am), but then when I click to Troubleshoot, it says 'Maintenance'. I tried on both the browser and the app. How long is 'Maintenance' suppose to be?
