Chromebook Desktop Version on Chromebook
Using an Android App, "Crossover", I was able to install desktop version of YNAB for Windows on my Chromebook. I have been using it for a few months now without any major problems. I am not a fan of the online version of YNAB. Right now Crossover is free, but once it comes out of beta it will cost around $40 I think
Every couple of weeks I transfer the YNAB data file from my Chromebook to my Macbook. No compatibility issues between the Windows version and the Mac version of YNAB!
One complaint I had about Chromebooks was that I could not install and run YNAB, but with Crossover, I am loving my Chromebooks even more.
