Cannot enter a transaction

For the first time (ever) a cc payment landed as a regular transaction and I cannot fix it.

YNAB will not let me change the payee to a transfer when I click in the payee list on the Payment: Account choice.

Did I break my YNAB?

  • Delete the transaction and re-enter it as a transfer. That should add it on both accounts correctly.

      I tried that and could not get the Payee Window to populate???

  • In the future, enter the transfer via the scheduler (or manually) and the import will simply match it.

      I started YNAB in July and have about 10 transfeers a month with no problems until yesterday with this one that is just like the other ones previously.

  • Success, everyone! Thanks for all your replies.

    I deleted the uppity transaction (again) and let it settle over night and when I opened YNAB this am I re-entered the transaction successfully.👍

    BIG shout out to Dan over at YNAB bug reports and support for blazing fast responses.
