Puzzled by green, grey and orange
I'm puzzled. I've allocated to the end of the month and the first bit of January, which should just show green till the event happens, so why have I got orange? See movie at http://livingwithwheels.co.uk/Untitled.mov.
Have you actually viewed the video you posted? The video never leaves the December view, and it never shows any orange labels. There is also no sound, as far as I can tell, in case you're narrating.
https://docs.youneedabudget.com/article/129-category-inspectors-colors might be helpful?.
Hey Maroon Admiral Helen !
Are you still having trouble here? In case you didn't see the article Ben linked to, Orange is used to indicate any category that needs your attention. This could be because of credit card overspending or an unmet goal.
Do either of those sound familiar or were you able to get things ironed out?
From what I can see in your video... it appears for the categories 25th Home Ins and 25th Home Emerg you would have a scheduled transaction in one of your budgeted accounts. It is drawing your attention to those categories because in January there will not be enough there when you will pay that bill. If you place a check mark (select) one of those transactions, the inspector to the right will give you more information about what is going on. The categories toward the top, I cant tell as you have funded those the same as last month. Again, if you select only one, the inspector on the right will give you more information.
