What is Your Budget's Name?
Hi everyone! I've always had a difficult time naming my budget in YNAB and I've been wondering what other people name their budgets. And now I have a place to ask!
Is your budget name something silly, meaningful, or serious? I would love to know!
My budget is usually called "Lemons and Limes" because when I was little and my family was doing well financially we would have more fresh produce in the kitchen because we could afford it.
Thank you to anyone that replies!

I have 3 budget files I keep:
"Budget 20xx" <-- The "real" budget for the current year"Forecasting" <-- The "planning" budget where I look forward to next month to get an idea of what I have coming up, if there is anything out of the ordinary I need to plan for, etc...
"Sandbox" <-- The "playpen" budget where I mess around with the system, figure out things I'm confused about, and get more familiar with new features.
No fancy or clever names (I'm boring when it comes to money). -
Like some others I wasn't actively aware my budget has a name. I though about having Norbert look after mine too, if HappyDance would let me. But decided for Norwegian ridgeback instead 😁. (Harry Potter too, for those who don't know. He has to steal its egg) They're vicious. And I'm slightly YNAB obsessed at the moment.

I have a test budget to understand how the math works without messing up my actual budget and transactions. I have the normal checking and savings. But additional accounts that I track and use like credit cards, 401k, my kid's accounts, etc. Should the account be on budgeted or only tracked? What happens if a credit card is budgeted and overspent a category at the end of the month, where does the math take me...

My budget is named “Grind & Stack”, an ode to Big Boi’s “Order of Operations”. The song is amazing, and Big Boi’s story behind the song is even better: http://songexploder.net/big-boi
Long story short: Operation Grind & Stack is about spending less frivolously and saving money!

Very factual. One for each of the two countries I bank in, named the names of those countries. One my son uses for his pocket money... named his name. Another called after him where I keep track of me saving for his future (this confuses us both 😉 One called a really loooong name something like ‘retirement savings, money that’s in the other budget already but for keeping track’ and a little sandpit called ‘UK what if...’ that was for working out if I can afford to move home. But I can’t. 😐
