Venmo: "We're having trouble connecting to this financial institution"

I'm getting this error on my linked Venmo account. I've tried unlinking and relinking the account but it doesn't help.

    Since we’ve received reports from a number of Venmo users who are running into the same issue, we’re already working on a fix with our import partner. 😀

    While we hope it will be fixed within a couple days, it could take a couple weeks depending on the complexity. We’ll post updates on our Status Page as we hear back from our Direct Import partner, so please check in with us there!

  • Has there been any progress solving this issue? The Status Page makes no mention of Venmo.

    • Hi Pink Device ! This particular incident was resolved. I'm happy to look closer at your Venmo connection! First, let's try removing and re-adding the connection. It's a little different than unlinking and relinking.
