Referral link during trial period

Hi,

I started using YNAB beginning of August, and was so happy with it that I talked about it with my wife, and she started using it, with a separate connection as we have separate accounts and budget.

Unfortunately, I was not able to send a referral link to her, as I was still in my trial period when she started. I have now an active subscription, and she will also subscribe in the next few days. Is there a way that we could still benefit from the referral program?

Note: asking her to restart from scratch is NOT an option 😔

  • I would not pay for two subscriptions. I would have her create a separate budget under your login

      You can email support though, and I'm sure they can help with the referral aspects of your budget.

    If you reach out to support through the app, we'll just need your wife's account to list her as a referral for you! Once she subscribes, you'll both get a free month added to your accounts. :)

      I contacted the support, Sarah answered me, asking to provide the e-mail address used by my wife to connect. Info has been provided, no feedback yet. In the meantime, my wife subscribed.
