YNAB is working, whether your import is or not. You can click on the link on the right hand side of the main forum page to report an issue with your bank.

In the meantime, how can we help you use YNAB?

  • Hello, Pink Moose ! I've been emailing you about this problem but haven't heard back. Is there a different email address I should try? We're not able to provide Direct Import support via the forum, but feel free to get in touch with support directly ([email protected])—we'd really love to help with this.

  • your support person that emailed basically said "hey things happen...oh well...sorry". Its been almost 2 weeks, and I know im not the only one having this issue. Why is it taking this long for you to fix your product? I've been in IT for 20 years and the virtualization lead for home depot, and if I supported my customers like this I can tell you that heads would roll. This is ridiculous. FIX YOUR PRODUCT

    • Pink Moose I have to agree with you.  I've used YNAB since it was a desktop software and the import has never been worse. But the problem is that they don't seem to have the guts to tell their 'import partner', who gets blamed for all of this, to take a hike and fire them! Other software (Mint and Personal Capital, for example) don't have these issues.

The two halves of this sentence do not make sense together, seeing as the desktop version did not have automatic import (and that file based import continues to work just fine).

    • WordTenor Whether YNAB 4 had automated import or not wasn't my point (and I really just didn't remember either way).  I haven't done file imports since Microsoft Money and I'm not going back to them now.  I have a high customer experience expectation since I'm paying for the software. That expectation is that the import works 99.9% of the time.  That's the point of automation.  And they're, in my anecdotal experience, nowhere near 99.9% uptime with import. Maybe not even 90%.

Tan Cobra (240143be09df) You haven’t used file imports since MS Money which was sunsetted the same year YNAB 3 launched, and well before Pocketsense was written for YNAB 4 (which admittedly I forgot about but still; was not part of the software)? How exactly did you use YNAB 3 and 4, then?

I am very confused about what you are trying to explain. Sincerely so.
