
YNAB and CIBC Canada
I've been using YNAB for a little over a month now. Happy with everything other than syncing transactions.
All of my CIBC accounts sync correctly when I first link them however they do not sync again after that. CIBC is my main banking provider with my chequing, savings, visa, line of credit, etc...
After a couple of days of no transactions I get a message saying that sync is delayed but should resolve itself.
I originally waited a few days before removing the connection and redoing it. Once I relink the accounts, they always sync correctly the first time, but then that's it.
I most recently waited a few weeks to try to let the system sort itself out. No luck. I've been entering everything manually to keep track.
The app eventually asked me to enter my banking details again yesterday afternoon, and then synced all accounts correctly. I ended up with 50+ transactions to approve. Waiting to see if it syncs the next transactions that clear on my account.
I also have accounts with Wealthsimple that will not sync (TFSA, RRSP, RESP). I am not as concerned with these accounts though as they are not used for day-to-day spending.
Is there anything I can do to correct the sync issues? I don't have sync issues with syncing transactions from these accounts on other platforms.
