Direct Import Troubleshooting

Direct Import is amazing. But there are quite a few moving parts, and sometimes they need an adjustment.

When you’re experiencing trouble syncing with your bank, there are three steps you can take to diagnose and resolve the issue:

  1. Check our Status Page for up-to-date information on temporary issues.
  2. Scroll down to peek at the Known Issues list below to see if your bank is included.
  3. Try our Direct Import Troubleshooting steps to get connected with your bank.

If your bank isn’t included on the Status Page or Known Issues lists, and the troubleshooting steps didn’t result in a successful connection, please send us an email at help@ynab.com so we can dig in!

When you email, we’ll need to know:

  • The name of your financial institution
  • The URL you use to login there
  • That you already tried the troubleshooting steps!
