YNAB Tool Kit: What does the "s" mean when the "Goal" column is enabled?

I have turned on the goals and somehow there is an S... I thought the only options were T, M, and D.

What could this be?

  • Guessing that's the monthly "spend up to" option.

  • 'S' denotes the new YNAB Monthly Spending Goal (versus the Monthly Savings Contribution Goal). This way you can easily see if it is a spending or saving goal.

Yes,go to the budget page,  click on the goal you want to change, then  click on the 'edit' button next to  "goal" in the right-hand panel and select the option you want from the drop down...same way you set up the goal in the first place.
