Apple Card - import via OFX

I am new to YNAB and noticed that there were a couple of  closed threads (such as https://support.youneedabudget.com/t/637wmy/will-ynab-support-apple-card)  with folks asking about Apple Card and importing transanctions.

I use the following tool to generated the OFX file from the monthly Apple Card statement and then import the OFX/QFX file into YNAB. Worked fairly well.

  • Given Apple’s statement cycle, you can do this just in time to be a calendar month behind.

  • I only use mine for Apple purchases so for me, it's not worth the bother. I just enter them the old fashioned way. 😀

  • There's now, finally, an official way to do this. Tap on a statement, then tap "Export Transactions". You can export as `.OFX` or `.CSV`

It's still only for statements, so it's always a month too late, but it's a step in the right direction.
