Citi Cards - Connection Blocked

I attempted to restore the connection with my linked Citi account, but I got the attached error message indicating the connection is blocked.

Following the directions, I logged into my Citi account but there were no alerts or issues - everything is working properly on their end. 

How do I resolve this?

  • Hi Cadet Blue Falafel !

    We've seen a few reports of this issue pop up for Citibank users due to an alert showing where the Search option is in their web app. If you log into your Citi account and acknowledge that alert, it should clear the error.

    I took a look and I'm now seeing a successful connection. If you have any questions about that, please don't hesitate to let me know!

      Faness  There is no alert on my Citibank web app. I have not been able to connect for the past 9 days. The YNAB status page says "Prolonged Maintenance Errors." I am guessing there are way more than a few customers affected by this. Will you please give us an update? What is YNAB doing to fix this?

    • Hi Granny Bogle ! It looks like your connection was running into a different error, unrelated to the issue on the status page.

      I have good news! Your Citibank connection is currently successful (and may even have transactions available), but you'll need to link the connection up to your budget accounts like this

      Once you do that, it should start importing again for you. 🙂 Let me know how it goes!
