How to import bank information on mobile phone?

I’ve installed the phone app but don’t see any import or synchronize button. How is it done?

  • You won't see anything if there is nothing to import.  If there is, this is what you should see....  At the bottom of your phone, there there are 5 choices, one of them is Accounts.  If there is a red dot near/on that selection, there is something in there that needs attention.  It could be a scheduled transaction or something to be imported.  Choose Accounts....  In the accounts area that lists All Accounts, toward the top there will be a blue bar that states "New Transactions to Import, Approve, or categorize".  Choose that.  If there is nothing you won't even see the option.  Hope that helps

    • Gray Cornet  This is assuming that you have logged into the app on your phone, you should then see your YNAB file.

    Sky Blue Filly is absolutely correct! Transactions can take up to 12 hours after clearing your bank to import into YNAB. At that point, you should see that blue banner at the top of your Accounts tab prompting you to view them. :)
