Chase, Capital One and Huntington

I'm new to YNAB but I have linked my accounts, discounted and relinked without any of the transactions being imported. I seen there is an issue with Capital One 360 but no issues with Chase and Huntington being reported. I hoping it just a setting I'm missing somewhere but I cant find anything

YNAB does not instantaneously import transactions.  Also, once a transaction is made, it doesn't magically know you made it.  It takes time.  The best way to keep your budget up to date, I have found, is to enter my spending when it happens, then wait for the import to occur, if it's a linked account.  YNAB normally updates about every 12 hours, but that can change with different circumstances.  My recommendation, again, is to enter your transactions as they occur, then, if you choose to use linked accounts, use import as a confirmation only.  Yes, some institutions have issues, some have regular issues.  If you want your budget to reflect reality, you need to manually enter your spending as it occurs, no way around that.

  • Seconding  MsTJ and to head off the usual complaint, this is what YNAB expects you to do. They view direct importing as a nice-to-have backup feature, not the way you're meant to interact with your budget the majority of the time.
