Do Linked Accounts Work For Anyone?
Just curious. I love YNAB, but the new syncing service is terrible. I'm just curious, does it work for anyone? Am I the only one?
I have linked my Navy Federal Credit Union account a few times now. It's got the checkmark. However, transactions don't get imported. YNAB is many days behind now, and says there are no new transactions which is false. Support suggests just entering the transactions manually. I could I suppose, but that's one of the reasons I decided to pay for this service. Do I need to remove the links and re-linked every day? Maybe I'll try that.
Sorry, just really frustrated and saddened by this development.
Since the latest update, linking to my credit card account works automatically, while I need to enter my bank login and go through the text-a-code process twice each time I log into YNAB to link to my bank account. I believe it has to do with the requirements set by my bank? I have always experienced a delay in transactions showing in YNAB after hitting my bank account, but not as long as several days. Hi Alice Blue Piccolo ! The overall change to Plaid has gone smoothly, and the majority of folks are successfully connected. Until the instances where it's not. I know when your connection isn't behaving as expected, it's frustrating!
There are two issues on our status page impacting YNABers, and are already working on it with our import partner. We're not out completely of the woods yet—but a number of changes have been implemented, and we're seeing it turn around!
We don't recommend removing and re-adding the connection with Plaid. It looks like your NFCU connections imported transactions yesterday. 🎉 If you're still missing transactions, please report a Bank Importing Issue and our importing team will be happy to dig in!
