Extremely basic YNAB 4 question
I know it's unsupported as of 2019, but I would only be using it to refer to historical data.
I have used it exclusively on the Mac, but now want to update to a newer MacOS that will take away my ability to run it.
I do, however, have a Windows 10 machine as well. Are the data files cross-platform, so that I could use my Windows machine to do what my Mac used to do?
I just bought a piece of garbage MS Surface 3 just to run 3 ancient Windows programs that don't even run on 10, because I was sick of backing up and troubleshooting my resource-draining virtual machine. In setting it up, I was like, Hey! I can load my old YNAB4 stuff on it! Now I have 4 legacy programs to run!
So yes, it works fine, even on Windows 8.1 :).

You can still run it under the latest version of MacOS. See this for how:
I imported all my YNAB4 history into nYNAB when it was first released. I know that a few weeks later there were many bugs reported and they stopped you from being able to do it for a while. Mine was fine though so i've got all 7-8 years in my budget. So yo could have it all in one place if you prefer.
